The Writers Guild of America voted Annie Hall the funniest screenplay of all time, choosing the film as its top pick from a list of 101 contenders. The Oscar-winning 1977 screenplay beat out the works of Monty Python and Mel Brooks, as well as comedy classics like Ghostbusters and more recent films like Bridesmaids.
